How to get back original windows 10 desktop icon

Go to solution Solved by Blevins,

Hit start and type in "Show or Hide common icons". 

Select the checkbox by "Computer" and hit apply. 

 

If the icon isn't quite right, hit "Restore default" next to change icon. It's in the same show or hide common icons menu.

I didn't know how to explain it but...

I accidentally clicked "Delete" instead of "Properties" and in result it deleted that icon. I wanted to get it back, so I did control Z. This caused the icon to loose it's original nice clean icon. I want it back :(

 

It is supposed to look like the "This PC" Icon....

 

Isn't there some sort of option in windows 10 settings that can re enable this?

 

 

OFF TOPIC: I suggest every poll from now on to have "**CK EA" option instead of "Other"

Right click, properties and customise. If that option is not there then just delete the shortcut and make another one. 

Have you tried turning it off and on again?

But I don't want to see the shortcut arrow in the corner... That was the point of this thread, to restore that icon without the arrow.

Also there is no customize option.
