Galaxy S7 broken screen not lighing up?

So i have this client who broke her s7 and i not want her to pay 200 for the repair of the screen if the motherboard is broken as well. The only problem is the screen isnt lighting up at all not even the back arrow and its broken near the top. Has anyone had this problem? Please let me know asap.

if you can try to plug it into a PC and see if it detects, if so then if you have such thing try to plug one of those Micro-USB to HDMI and plug it into a TV/Monitor. if its the GPU it wont display on the TV/Monitor. If it does then replace the entire front?

So it read it forblike 2 minutes then lost the connection. For troubleshooting purposes what should i do now?
