Mouse is acting up, and it's REALLY pissing me off

Well, I tried it on my laptop, and no issue. Thing is, when I plugged it back into my desktop, no more issues! Not sure what happened, but thanks for the help!

This started (or I noticed it) around a week ago. I will be playing something, or just watching YouTube, basically doing anything on my PC, and the cursor will be EXTREMELY laggy and jumpy. The mouse buttons will take a while to respond during these "happenings". I don't know what's wrong, I've tried EVERYTHING except for a different mouse since I don't have another one. My mouse is a Microsoft Wireless Moblie Mouse 4000. Thanks for the help!

Try using the same mouse on another computer, if the problem persists on that PC it's either your mouse drivers or the mouse itself that's causing the problem, otherwise, a reinstall would probably fix it if you can't find an easier fix and if reinstalling the mouse drivers doesn't fix it
