Hey so I had money put aside for an HDD upgrade for potential m.2 drives.I planned on buying a barracuda pro 6tb but with the sales right now,i'm wondering whether or not I should get the 8tb instead.Do you guys think that 8TB of storage is overkill for gaming ? Games would include my steam library of 130+ games and a bunch of emulated games that also keep adding up.Note that I will of course keep on buying and downloading isos.

I would go for the 8TB drive. It might seem like overkill now but in a year or so you might still run out of space.

I think right now with all my games I'm using about 4TB of space and that grows by a good amount every year.
