How purple is orchid grey for the s8+?

Would it be considered feminine? I like the color on some pictures but every picture I've seen looks different. Would it be seen as odd for a guy to get this color?

Thank you ? I just couldn't figure out the real pigment, as every picture I've seen is different. I really like the slight purple look to it, but I don't want it to be straight purple.

While I do love the blue, it's not going to be available here in the states for quite a while, certainly not for pre orders.

They're going to have the orchid grey, the silver color (can't remember what it's called) and the midnight black.

Ordered the orchid grey as well. Really nice to get something a bit different in colour, but still low key.

For your information red, pink and purple was originally masculine colours. These are considered strong and bold colours, where the blueish colours was considered "fair for the fair gender". That is why every painting you see that is more than 150-200 years old, men wore these colours.

The orchid grey colour changes depending on the room's lighting. It's a cool colour and I loved it ever since I got mine.
