  1. 1. Big or small

    • case:Mini tower GPU: Mini itx from gigabyte 1070
    • case:Mid tower GPU: Extreme gaming gigabyte 1070

Should i build a compact PC with a mini tower with a mini itx 1070 from gigabyte  or build a PC in a big mid tower case with a 1070 gigabyte extreme gaming

I cant deside if i should go for a bit more power and a bad ass looking build or a small portable one which i can take with me almost everywhere

A big one, better airflow and temps

If you're planning on taking it a lot of places definitely go ITX, you're not going to give up that much performance with a ITX GPU.  There's also a lot of small cases that still support a full size GPU.

If I were doing it all over again I'd go with the smallest system I could.

I would too actually, but not because it's any more practical, I'd just like the challenge and smaller footprint it'd leave.

if you have to insist you think for yourself, i'm not going to believe you.

I just like the smaller foot print, less for me to worry about.

I mean you could build a full-sized water cooling loop in Itx define s case. just saying

I wanted to try building an ITX system before even without any plan to move it around. I ended up spending way more than a regular ATX system (SFX PSU, flat ribbon cables, FT03-mini case, AIO cooler, m.2 ssd).

The increased desk space is nice tho.

Buddy it's dependent on your lifestyle. If you are a student or traveling often you might want to downsize but still have a very powerful kick!

I would down size:

pros:

LAN PARTIES

portablity

extreamly useful for entertainment systems

backpack worthy

cons:

little less power

But if you plan on upgrading and your more stationary then it wouldn't be a bad idea. Especially if you want to make a nice build that stays in one place

Me too. I spent less and less time on gaming... mini itx system is good enough for me. A bit pricy, but , still.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

Always go small, having a big chunky tower is a pain and an eyesore, the smaller the better. More sleek, usually a much more restrained style too.

Laptop: Asus GA502DU

RAM: 16GB DDR4 | CPU: Ryzen 3750H | GPU: GTX 1660ti
