Goodbye Windows Phone 8.1 . Loved you a lot :(.

 

This is a very painful goodbye . PLANNED OBSOLECENSE is EVIL!!!!!!!!!

I wanted to make a version of my Windows 10 app to Windows Phones but I guess not anymore....

 

If you have a Windows Phone 8.1 Device then you will need to either upgrade (if eligible) OR ACQUIRE a new Windows 10 Mobile device.

 

Existing devices will no longer be supported in July so just a heads up for people!

 

New apps cannot be developed for Windows Phone 8.1 and so you're gonna need to upgrade :(.

It's really too bad Windows Phone has horrible app support, since the OS is very nice by itself even on a low end phone. SD200, 1GB RAM, and yet the OS is still smooth with 60FPS animations.. I love it.

Exactly the feeling I had with a Nokia Lumia was that the operating system itself was by far the best, even budget cheap phones with it felt responsive and fast, a shame that app developers chosen to kill it, seems that having options isn't desirable soon everything will be android, a shame.

I have a Nokia 532 running 10 Insider. Quite nice.

Hmm both windows phones I had were buggy and supported barely any apps. Still sticking with android.

I suck a typing, preparw for typos.

At least it supports Windows 10 Mobile so there is room for improvement....
