Looking to downsize my computer in all honesty. I dont really like this big computer, (fractal design define S). dont get me wrong, its a good case. lots of room and what not, but i seems so...empty and its hard to carry it around (yes i carry it around sometimes when i go to a friends house where we have 5+ people playing games together)

So. Im trying to decide on cases.

I like the fractal node 202, and the core 500. but i dont know.

CPU i currently have is the 4790k which has a 95W TDP (it says im using like....84W when im gaming at 4.4Ghz)

1. Can hold a GTX 1070 Strix

2. Minimum of 2 SSD cages (I dont have any use for HDD so smaller the better)

3. Can hold a 240mm Radiator, if not thats fine. I wont mind using a normal fan/heatsink or 120mm radiator if i have the chance

4. Less than 80$ would be sweet, if there is a PSU deal with it, I can negotiate that

5. Would like it to be a mini-ITX motherboard, if not, a Micro would be fine as well

6. Any other recommendation to the cases I have listed is fine. the more cases I have to check out, the better.

This is called a Lan Party :P

As for the rest of your requierments, all of them make the node 202 not an option.

Edit: I think your best bet between the two is the Core 500.

Edit 2: The node uses small PSU so you would have to purchase that. It has not radiator support and can't fit most regular coolers, would need to use Intel cooler or get something that's low profile. Have you looked into the nano series from Fractal? Basically the same as the Define but shrunk.

Why all? my GPU is 297mm long, and the case says it can do 310mm. and also the case has 2 SSD brackets on it. so it can hold the SSDs. and i dont mind using a heatsink fan cooler instead of liquid cooled. and it can hold the mini-ITX motherboard. so it fits all the requirements i listed. but i do see what you mean there though with no liquid cooling

You can't use tower coolers like the EVO 212 or anything like that. You said $80 price, Node is over $100.

Cant hold a RAD, and sadly is $150, but it's super portable

Bitfenix also has a good ITX case

This was exactly what I was thinking, This is by far my favorite ITX case, it makes me wish I didn't go completely overkill and made an ITX build instead, but I will use it for my Wife's build
