BSOD + Fans not blowing heat out.

SammoFS

Hi all. My Laptop/Notebook model is N61JQ (asus) and recently I've been getting the BSOD error "Uncorrectable Hardware error". I also notice that my fans don't push out the heat from the side of the laptop, I don't feel any heat at all. I just bsod or freeze and i force turn it off. Please help :/ (Windows 7 btw)

If your laptop is still covered under warranty, I suggest you head to the nearest service center!

Yeah you probably just need to take the back cover off and blow the dust out of it, at 7 years old its bound to be pretty clogged more then likely.

I second this. If you can't open it yourself, find someone who can.

Blow out the dust with compressed air, don't use a vacuum cleaner. If you can't get compressed air, wipe with clean, dry, anti-static cloth. A microcloth would do fine too.
