Configure browser to play different res. video automatically.

Hi guys

 

I was wondering if there is any way to tell chrome/youtube/browser in general to play one resolution if video is in windowed mode and a different (higher) resolution when in full screen mode.

For example: 720p in windowed mode and 1080p (or higher) in full screen mode. So I don't have to think about it.

You can run a Greasemonkey/Tampermonkey script to detect your browser's window resolution then tell YouTube to load only the video of the resolution you want.

I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure YouTube already does this, although it's 480p -> 720p.

There's an extension to autoset quality, but I'm not sure what it's called

Search it on the Chrome store, it's called MyQuality or something.

I used to use it when I had shit internet to load videos at 360p
