Adverts on Tech Youtubers Channels

TheUncannyScrub

My question is that if there is a small to medium is youtuber that specializes in Tech and Computers, can they rely on advertising on youtube videos since their fanbase has almost definitely heard of adblock and are probably using it or do they need help by getting advertisements in their videos like brand sponsorship to make up the numbers as a similar sized channel that specializes in lets say... beauty and makeup sort of thing?

please proofread your stuff, I had to read this twice to understand what you mean (or at least think I understand what you mean now).

Anyways, because the tech youtube viewers are quite a bit niftier than your average viewer, plus many average viewers use their phone (no adblocker easily available), yes they might have to rely (more) on sponsors.
