What radiator are you using? I'm looking into watercooling an R4 and trying to figure out rad thickness, placement, etc.

Yea i know but didnt really have much choice due to it being the only black mobo i could get my hands on. looks a lot better without the flash.

Only black motherboard? You should have gotten the Gigabyte 990FXA-UD3! It looks much nicer than that ugly board.

Yea defiantly going to upgrade the mobo in the near future although i just brought a house so dont really have much spare cash laying round at the moment. The board is a piece of crap, wouldn't even want to run it in my media server :( .The rad its a XSPC  RS240 and im going to add another EX140 to the rear fan when my compression fittings finally arrive (its been over 2 months now!!)

Still waiting on gear (most of the water cooling gear is on back order until the beginning of April :( )

Waiting on the SSD to arrive so i can attach it to the back of mobo tray then i can start putting it all together

do you have to remove the motherboard to put the ssd on the back of the tray?

Sadly, yes. They've shown improved version of mounting SSDs on Computex 2013, but it's not in define series yet.

UPDATE

Brought a new motherboard that is so much better than the old one and should hopefully get some good overclocks (sitting on 4.6ghz at the moment stable with no effort) also my compression fittings have arrived so i rebuilt my loop with new tubing but still haven't got another rad yet.

I like the build, it's nice to see an AMD water cooled build! So would you recommend that board for overclocking? I have the v1 of your original motherboard, and would love a new one.

Yea it seems to be good for the price. have only bumped up the voltage a little and hasn't had any heat or blue screen problems (old motherboard i couldn't even get a stable 4.2ghz)

I know what you mean, I chose their preset deal that sent me up to 4 jiggahertz, and blue screen.

Nice and clean. You've done the theme well.

Watch the Bay res like a hawk....I've heard a few horror stories about leaks.

I think the LP Vengeance in Arctic White would have fit in really well here.

No problems with the res yet although the built in pump is a little noisey. Wil be the next thing to upgrade along with the GFX card. Will be getting a D5 a new res and thicker rad soon hopefully

Is that a 280 radiator in the front? Looks like it. How did you manage to fit it because the 140mm fan holes are not spaced well. Did you modified them? Nice rig by the way.

Any reason why you went with the black version of the case over the white one?

lol what do you mean you don't know how that happened?  It couldn't have put itself there.

just in case you wanted to remove it, the hard drive cage sled (the thing under the 5.25 bays) comes off via 4 philips screws located in the bottom 5.25" drive bay. unscrew it and it pops right off (I had to take it off to have room for my 140mm rad in front)

With today's technology I often wonder why we don't have colonies on the moon or Mars. Then I go to Wal Mart for 5 minutes and realize the vast majority of the human populace isn't ready for such things.
