What's your budget?  Is there specific hardware you'd like to lean towards?  What is most of the use or utilization going to be?  Does your budget include software, or is that separate?

dell inspiron is a good option. get the model with 1080p screen and a big battery.

Still unsure what you're looking to spend, but if you need something small and on a budget, try the Dell Outlet:

On the side you can select screen size.  Many are factory refurbished models and some scratch & dent.  Don't let that fool you.  they are direct from dell and carry their full warranty.  I think HP and Lenovo have similar sites, but I couldn't find them as easily.
