Ok, so I have a few issues that I will list that I really would like to fix since I can't seem to fix them on my own.

1. My computer recently blue screened with a WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR. I looked it up and it seems like it is from over-voltage. My cpu is an i5-4690k, it is overclocked to 4.2 ghz and is at 1.175 vcore. Why did it blue screen? Also, ever since that happened my fans have been really loud. In corsair link everything is around 30c yet the fans ramp up if I open a new window in chrome or anything.

2. My computer randomly freezes. It seems like it mostly happens when I'm using chrome but the computer freezes and I cannot do anything but restart it. There is no blue screen or anything, it just gets stuck on whatever I was on i.e desktop, chrome, steam, anything.

3. Cortana doesn't work 99.9% of the time. I have contacted microsoft multiple times about this issue and no matter what I do, nothing fixes it. As soon as I use their fix, it will work once and then upon restart it will return to not working. Everything else works except for the cortana area. I can open the cortana window but none of the buttons actually work. And the text I type does not get input into the search bar, the line blinks but nothing is written.

I use avg atleast twice a month to do a complete anti-virus scan. I also use malware bytes once a month and do a full scan. I use ccleaner everynight.

Thanks for all of the help!

You mean VIN? Because 1,75 Vcore would probably fry it. If that's VIN it's pretty low, it should be ~1,8-1,85V at those frequencies.

And if your system is overclocked and freezing you don't need "major help", you need to read an overclocking guide or don't bother. Reset cmos and just play stock.

TURN DOWN THE VOLTAGE OMFG!!! 1.75V IS WAAAY  TO MUCH!!! dont go above 1.4V or you are going to kill the chip

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

I'd say 1,3V if running standard cooling and undelidded.

anything under 1.4V is safe, im running 1.335V and 4.7GHz on air on my 4690K and i think thats fine. anything from 1.2V-1.4V is what you should have, never bellow or above that if you care about preformance and lifespan of your CPU

go up with the voltage to 1.25V and see if you stil have problems, its most likely to few V going through it

I shall try. Any idea about the freezing tho?

could be related to either the voltage beeing to low and causing insablility or the windows install/harddrive
