Hi, lately my pc is doing weird stuff, every time I game it closes after 15 minutes sometimes more or less. I replaced my c drive because it was not working any more (went to a pc specialist) so now my pc works but my games kept crashing (before my c drive was replaced i also kept crashing). So I’ve read on the internet that it’s maybe my power supply unit. I currently have an rtx 2070 super plus i7 7700k (b250m bazooka motherboard) my psu is 4-5 years old and its ~600W

PC randomly black screen crashes and cpu debug light turns on.
M0_ posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hey guys, I built my first pc last year and ever since then my pc has been crashing randomly. The screen freezes and then 2 seconds later the monitor stops receiving an hdmi signal and motherboard cpu debug light turn on (The fans are still running). The pc might crash when I boot into windows (Sometimes crashes immediately on boot up or 10 - 15 seconds later). Other times I might be browsing the web or playing a game (usually I don't play too graphical demanding games but I can play games like witcher 3 or outer worlds without a problem on mid-high graphics). I FIGURED IT OUT!!! I have been dealing with this for over 9 months with a BRAND NEW system I built following all of Linus Tech Tips videos. The system would just randomly crash from loading a game, all the way to being in the middle of a game and it crashes. I wasn't even playing graphically intensive games either! I had heard that it could be GPU, CPU, Motherboard, PSU, ... etc. I double checked everything in my PC... and I mean everything. I was 100% sure the GPU was fried and it was too late to return it. I had to swallow the pill of buying a new card in the middle of this bitcoin crap at

PC Specs So my Desktop has been consistently freezing/locking up under both heavy and low loads. I can force it to freeze after ~7 minutes by running both Furmark and Prime95, but the temperatures for both the CPU and GPU are in the 60s so I do not think it is overheating. One thing I will note is that it takes MUCH longer (~6 hours) to freeze if I only run prime95. I ran Memtest, Crystal disk, and reinstalled windows and no errors showed up. Could it be that my PSU or GPU is failing? Also, about a year and a half ago I bent a pin in the socket, but I thought I fixed it, could that

Hello, I just installed a new ASUS ROG-STRIX-LC-RX6800XT-O16G-GAMING GPU… I was so excited to finally get this after two months of daily non-stop F5s. I uninstalled the video drivers using DDU in safe mode (twice just to be certain) and installed the latest revision of the AMD provided adrenalin drivers (20.12.2 December 17th) using the factory installation setting. No issues in Windows, but instant crash (black screen reboot, no blue screen) whenever I try and play a game (AC Valhalla) or enter benchmarks (i.e. OCCT and Heaven’s). AC Valhalla usually crashes in the menu settings, but

Specs down below The problem is that when i load up a game like the crew 2 on ultra 1440p 60fps for example the the pc simply crashes, i do still hear sound for 4 seconds or so. I have this same problem in other games aswel for example minecraft java with shaders or when im streaming. I also get 4 beeps in quick succession as a post code the gigabyte site says its the battery on the mother board and/or gpu aren't seated correctly. I unplugged both and put them back in. Yet the problem is still there. I have also tried a DDU, it also had no effect. Im thinking of rein

So I wasn't sure if I should drop this in Audio or Peripherals but since it's a Bluetooth issue this seems the best place. Basically, I use a pair of Sony WH CH700N Bluetooth headphones for most things on my PC. I have done for years and they are fine. I am using an external ASUS USB Bluetooth dongle. I wanted to output my PC audio to a speaker and I don't have any analog options so I connected an Anker Soundcore Bluetooth speaker to my PC. Everything seemed to be working fine until I turned off the speaker in order to reconnect my headphones. I reconnected my headphone

Hello, my pc is crashing repeatedly at no obvious reason. I have no clue where to start and I would really appreciate if someone could help me. All I know is my fans change from white to rainbow and most stuff that I had up works, but I can't open anything else or even shut my pc down or restart it. I have to use the reset button on the front and I don't like doing that, but it is the only way I can get it working again. Also I don't know if it was a glitch, but my gpu says it is at 100% usage on the task manager.

Hi, I just recently build a new PC. It worked alright almost a month. But today, I was just searching on Google (no performance load) and PC just crashed. When i booted it again, i got blackscreen. Also my RAM RGB Is not working properly (only leds on one ram are working). Fans, MOBO RGB works, fans spin, but there Is just blackscreen. Idk how to get my PC working. When I launch any game it starts fine and then it freezes or goes into a blackscreen. After that it crashes (for example Minecraft "Process crashed with exit code -1073740791") I already reinstalled windows serval times and reseated the graphics card. I also reinstalled my graphics driver and switched versions to older ones.

so, a while back i replaced every part of my PC (spare the E and D drive and PSU) after i started getting this error and crashing into boot every few minutes, now it has started happening again with the new parts. is this possibly caused by my old PSU? i bought it like 6 years ago.

Hey Guys! Just built my first PC a couple of days ago so I am pretty new to this. My system is: Tomahawk x570 wifi, 5 5800X, 2x 8G Ripjaws RAM, Gigabyte RTX3070 OC, 750W PSU from Corsair. So basically, the games that I try to run (rdr2, rainbow, worldofwarships) crashes almost instantaneously or within 2 minutes of launch. When it does, by monitor screen goes black and says "Displayport 2560x1440." Here's what I have done so far; took the power cable out from the socket and put it back (both for PC and monitor) re-seated GPU, CPU replaced Displayport Cable removed an

so, recently my PC has been at random "freezing", sound continues to play, i can still talk on discord, but the screen is either locked or black, i cant pause spotify but it will continue playing without issue. i've ran stresstests on CPU and GPU now, 0 errors when both ran at 100%, but when i play a game it usually wont last longer than a few minutes, i've been running it for about 30 min now out of game 0 issues, there isnt any performance issues running up to the "freeze" it just happens, sometimes i can play for hours on end no issue, but recently its barely been 30 at most, and that

Hi I have had this PC for about a year now and I am just crashing on every game. I do not think this is a hardware issue because I have a 1660 and games like League of Legends still have the problem. I also don't think it could be my CPU because my CPU runs perfectly fine temperatures. May someone please help me with this I do not understand.

Hi guys, for the last couple of months I have been black screens when using my Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X OC. It is a very peculiar issue, because it only happens when I am outside of a game e.g. with an open browser (with hardware acceleration turned off), or other 2D applications, I believe it has only happened in game once or twice and that was when I had some 2D applications open as well as the game. I have noticed it often happens when I open Origin's client - it would crash within a few minutes - and that's how I tested the fixes I have tried that are stated below. The s

Hello, so recently I rebuilt my brothers computer and upgraded him to 10600k CPU Asus Tuff z490 G Skill trident z 16Gb 3200mhz ram 650W power supply It was running fine for a while and then started to blue screen when he'd be playing GTA 5 only, but now it started doing it more and more often at random times and at this point Im confused on what todo, I did BIOS update just to see if that would fix anything and so far doesnt look like it did anything. Even tho it was a huge update over a year.... I got some dump file logs but not too sure what exactly to look for so anything would he

Hello, i bought this computer in around may and ive had no problems with it. But around a month ago with a driver update the gpu started crashing when i launched a gpu intensive task. I usually open rocket league let it crash a few times and then the gpu goes back to working as normal. But if i open csgo for example it works fine but i have random black lines appearing in the start menu and if i start playing a match it crashses (because the gpu starts going at 100% i think) So heres a few troubleshooting options i've tried: -Updating BIOS -Updating the Chipset -Reverting to old dr

I got a new AMD Ryzen 7 5800X last week and have had trouble getting it to run properly since then. The problem that I am facing, according to Windows Event viewer, are "Cache Hirarchy Errors", which come up in either games like World of Tanks or in Cinebench. Here are a few things I tried to resolve the issue in exactly this order: Update the BIOS of my AsRock X570 Phantom Gaming 4 from 3.40 to 3.80. That did nothing. Disable XMP and remove 3 out of the 4 G.Skill 16GB 3000Mhz DIMMs that I have. Again, didn't do anything. Replace the Corsair AX760i

bsod Bsod while idle or low usage, never while gaming.
nathanhayball posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Please help I've been experiencing bsod's for months now, tried absolutely everything except swapping cpu or motherboard. The bluescreens only seem to happen while the pc is either idle or I'm doing non intensive things like browsing the internet, it has never happened while gaming or stress testing. The bug check codes never seem to be the same but always blame ntkrnlmp.exe, only once or twice blaming afd.sys. It also doesn't happen while the pc is offline or in a clean install with default drivers (will bsod once I start installing drivers and programs even if they're common one -
So, i have this system for 2 years now: ryzen 2600X, b450m pro m2, 16gb ddr4 3000mhz RAM (gskill), RX570, SSD(w10 is on a mp150 corsair, and 2 cheap ssd) and western digital green 2tb; and a few days ago i notice that the discord closed by himself, i minimized only, and i couldn't open it agian, i link a video with an example (in the video i close discord with task manager, but this happend after a minutes of open the program or a few seconds). From my experience (i study administration of system on net)i discard a possible hardware fail (i can play Tarkov, Astroneer, LOL with no crash),

I play my games (as one gamer does), and after some time, they will just either crash, or more likely freeze and I need to task manager them. It seems to take longer for it to happen in fullscreen than borderless windowed. Then weird thing is, it stopped happening in Minecraft and Among Us (obviously I haven’t tested every game), but it still happens in other places, such as Project Winter. I have reinstalled graphics drivers (I have the latest NVIDIA ones), updated Windows to the latest release, and done the old turn-off-and-on trick. I have also tried, according to a post, to turn off Xbox G
