13-14 inch laptop

Cyrus

So im helping (another) friend find a laptop that is between 13-14 inches

and costs less than 800 dollars.

For so long we have mostly looked at the Hp pavilion x-360 13-u101no and we

have not found anything else that is better in this priceclass.

Usage will be for university and it does not need to be able to game.

Do you guys have any better recommendations?

Lenovo thinkpad's have always been really good when it come's to productivity..... w/o being an apple.

check out blinq.com

they have low prices as most items are just refurbished things that had the tiniest of a scratch on the bezel.

i got my hp pavillion 17" and it runs beautifully.

Acer's Swift3 and Swift7 laptops are pretty nice too. For that price, you can get a Kaby Lake i5, 4GB RAM (eh :/) and a 256GB SSD

Starts at around a 1000 dollars here in Sweden :/

Oh shit... forgot to check location.  Sorry.

Currently focusing on my video game collection.

It doesn't matter what you play games on, just play good games you enjoy.

The only lenovo laptops there are in this pricerange (in sweden) have 4gbs of ram which is the reason we stayed away from them.

but remember, this is for college depending on what course they are taking 4gb may be feasible.

maybe it's the cost of shipping(importing/customs), or manufacturing.
