What do YOU want to see back in the PC building mainstream

I remember always using 5.25" fan controller, external 3.5" SD card readers, (other things i don't remember at the moment).  For some reason, you don't see elaborate fan configurations/cool things to put in external 3.5" bays anymore.  What old PC building items do you miss, or what things do you wish would come out of their niche and become mainstream?

this is kind of going the other way but im sick of everything coming out with LED on it i get it theres LED stop acting like you have never herd of LEDs 

although i wouldnt mind if there was more 5.25 stuff i like to have options for drive cages and theres just not that many nice cages out there.

I'd like the world to move away from the appliance PC. the "buy and throw away" mentality. Everything soldered together. Super ultra duper thin for all things that don't need it.

 

This isn't even from an 'upgrade' standpoint, but an economical AND environmental. we throw out way too many computers these days that could be perfectly usable to others with some small upgrades / tweaks.

Clean design, AMD CPU competitiveness and less of a focus on the ludicrous idea that everything needs to be housed in a tiny and flimsy housing. This whole thinness at all costs thing has really gotten silly. Not to mention it just drives environmentally harmful developments, less of that too please.

Good retro-looking silver cases with silver insides. There's this one high-end all-aluminium case that was like super high-end back in the day but I can't find it for the life of me. Some Cooler Master thing I think.

 

edit yeah, the Cooler Master ATC lineup look super clean. No frills, or things, oh no. Just super styling with a clean front and all aluminium design. I want that to return.

Back in the day it was all about 5.25 bay reservoirs and the maximum amount of tubing you could cram in a case, bonus points for purple and green color themes

 

I have the same exact Antec P182, they don't make them like this anymore unless you shell out them shekels I tell you that mate
