Monitor problem.

Jimbles_Is_dead

I have a monitor that works when I plug power into it but when I plug it into the VGA port it turns off. (using my motherbord vga if it helps)

It probably does not turn of. It just switches to vga input, but there is no input, so the screen becomes black. Could it be the cable? Try using another one or a diffrent minister with the same cable

are you using a dual monitor setup? if so is the main one connected to the GPU?

When this occurs, you could also test, assuming you don't have other cables, to try and switch inputs, and this would confirm that the monitor doesn't power off.

Tried it with two cables It just goes "no signal" then goes black

Yes

then it might be that you have an option on the BIOS disabled

try and check how to enable iGPU on your mobo and it should fix the problem :)
