So that psu is fine?

Can the Pentium run Just Cause 3?

Would I put it in a gaming rig I hope to use for the next few years? No. Is it going to blow up and take your whole PC with it if you do use one? No.

Yes, I don't see why it wouldn't be able to. It's a dual-core with HT, just like the i3.

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

I`m worried about the psu causing any damage to other parts at all. As long as it works and wont wreck my pc at all.

Ill look up gameplay.

You'll most likely run into a longevity issue with that PSU rather than a "boom goes the dynamite" situation. It's up to you, really. Save a few bucks on a PSU that you might have to replace in a couple years because it's losing power output, or spend $15-20 more now on a higher quality PSU.

Ill take a better psu now because I`m too lazy to fix it later.

If you are talking about the seasonic s12ii 430w then it's the best quality budget psu on the market. It doesn't have the best efficiency but it will keep all of your components safe with its decent voltage control. Look up Johnnyguru's review on it if you are worried about it

Any other PSU`s for 10-20 dollars more with good voltage control?

I'm getting conflicting comments here on the psu.

Basically in short, the PSU will power your build fine but it's made with mediocre components where something like the Seasonic S12II is made from components that you could trust to power a 1070 and i7 from.

PSUs,

More wattage=/=higher quality

Known brands doesn't always equal higher/good quality (like in this case)

Efficiency doesn't always mean higher quality but in general, it's safe to assume it's higher quality

Seasonic (AKA Safesonic) and Superflower made PSUs are all safe to even use them to power something like a 1080 and i7 set up (assuming they have enough wattage).

Anything from tiers 1 to 3 are fine so go find the cheapest one out of those PSUs :)

New Pentium? What even?

Some of the kabylake Pentiums will have 2C/4T so they'll basically be downclocked i3s.
