Bridged Connection not working

GenialGiraffe

I connected my laptop to my PC for a temporary wifi solution via ethernet but so far nothing has worked. I've managed to bridge a connection between the two but it's not showing up on my PC (which needs the wifi in the first place).

Step1: Connect with wifi netwok

Connect your Laptop A with wifi network.

Step2: Create connection bridge

In Laptop A, Goto Adapter Settings (Control Panel -> Network and Sharing Center -> Change adapter settings)
Select Local Area Connection and Wireless Network Connection and right click and choose "Add to Bridge"

Step3: Connect ethernet cable

Now connect Laptop A and Laptop B via ethernet cable.
Now you can access the internet in Laptop B from Laptop A.

Try doing this?

Just tried it, still no luck. On my PC only "Ethernet" is available and if anything I just get an invalid IP address error.
