What is your Linux Server distro Preferation?

Eventually, I plan on building me a cheap server using Linux. I have not used Linux Server (Or any server OSs) and I want to know, what Linux server distro do you prefer?

Centos. Old., stable,and supportrd

ESXI and then i just put whatever os best suits my current needs on top of it

Ubuntu.

Lots of documentation and how-tos for it out there.

It's usually at the top of various performance benchmark charts, surpassed with any frequency only by Intel's Clear Linux.

And I get a kick out of my phone, laptop and server all running the same OS.

Depending how beefed up your server is I'd make a virtual host and then build a server ontop of it.  But server wise I use CentOS (same thing as RHEL just unsupported).
