580 for 10$

I found a very tempting bargain on ebay for a 10$ 1.5 gb 580. Would this be somewhat usable in modern games? Is it worth it or would spending an extra 40$ for a 750 be better? And if the 580 is worth it what cpu would be best to pair it with without bottlenecks? Thanks!

Well. The 580 is a much better deal than that 750. Gonna have to get a beefier PSU though. 

 

Finding a used fx 6300 or intel equivalent.  

You could build a really cheap 720p pc

Ehh, there's a lot worse you can get for $10. The 580 will trample over on anything low end. It might meet it's match against a 750 TI however. In addition, you will require a strong PSU.

What about a 50$ 680? Would that be a better deal than a 1050ti?

you still need a beefy PSU to power the GPU

Not sure if you know how it works but on eBay you have to bid, and chances are it's going to go a lot higher than what you see now.

I used a GTX 580 before, lets say it's not the best experience as you'll probably want to get rid of the noisy cooler.
