What cpu should i get?

I have two options. I could either buy a Dell Precision T1700 Mini-Tower workstation with an intel xeon e3 1270 v2 @3.5 GHz for $230 or a hp pro 3500 with an i5-3470 @3.2 GHz for $160. What one is the best deal?

Xeon is better, what GPUs?

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

well i was wondering what the PCs came with, the I5 could technically be using intergrated but Xeons dont have that so if its an entire PC it should come with a GPU, i would drop in an RX470 probably if you are planning on getting a new GPU or if used a GTX 970

It has a  NVIDIA Quadro 2000 Graphics Card in it

well that you can basically throw out if you want to play any games lol.
