i7 4790k working worse than an i5 6600k?

So i just downloaded cpu-z and ran a benchmark... and the results i think they were not good.

I compared to other users with same cpu and they are getting much more of score...

As you can see, in the image, the reference is 100 % , so how it should be. Mine is only at 57%... help!

The i5 is the newer generation skylake processor and you may not be running a bench mark that utilities the 4 more threads with the i7

Wait I'm confused now.

You used reference i7 4790k for comparion on that test. But what are you using in your PC? If you are using i5 6600k, I don't see any problem, since your i5 doesn't have multithreading, and it's worse than i7 4790k. At least in multicore performance.

Single core performance ... well i5 6600k should be a bit better.

forget it all. I know solved it.... my pc was only using 4 cores not 8....  and what i was sayng is that i5 6600k is was getting higher scores so it was more powerfull .... but its normal cause as i said my i7 4790k was only using 4 cores ^:D. .... But now all solved.
