Why would you need to spend that much on a "gaming motherboard" those are high end professional mother boards. Also you didn't say a chipset.

Not sure, but I think that was sarcasm. Most MOBOs are 100-300 max.... I just bought a GA-H110M-A for under $70.

He was joking, you don't even need a mobo more than 2-300 anyways...  and 300 is even chucking money at companies for no reason...

1 What chipset?

2 What cpu(s) are you running?

3 ECC ram support?

4 What features do you need?

5) What are the rest of the system specifications? Or is this in a progress build plan?

At a blind shot in the dark any of the asus WS series should work, They are solid boards. Don't bother with thous expensive "gaming" mother boards. They are a waste of money with dumb "features." any of the Asus -a series should work fine. (As well as most of Gigabytes offerings are totally fine and stable)

This honestly seems like a troll post. Reasons are that there is no info given on what the rest of the system specs are. Second no one in their right mind would spend that much on a "gaming" motherboard.

What are your full specs? Depends on chipset, form gta to, ECT on which one we pick. Anyways anything usually above $175 for me personally is pushing it because beyond that I think a lot of the "features" are gimmicks or useless. Motherboards have minimal impact on performance Ect and are more looked at for design and features which in the <$175 range, you can find just about anything. Except for X99, then $250-$300 max

i7-6700k  Cooling: Deepcool Captain 240EX White GPU: GTX 1080Ti EVGA FTW3 Mobo: AsRock Z170 Extreme4 Case: Phanteks P400s TG Special Black/White PSU: EVGA 850w GQ Ram: 64GB (3200Mhz 16x4 Corsair Vengeance RGB) Storage 1x 1TB Seagate Barracuda 240GBSandisk SSDPlus, 480GB OCZ Trion 150, 1TB Crucial NVMe
