Actually it is a pretty good analogy of buying something and it doing what it is supposed to but not quite up to par.

Your analogy would be better if you talked about the added extras in a car like sat-nav, more airbags, heated seats, or whatever. Not buying DLC doesn't take the engine away (literal and figurative), it just takes away the crap that should be there in the first place. 

 

Either way, I still never liked Battlefield after Bad Company 2. Everything feels extremely heavy and I always get sniped or bombed from a mile away...

I was actually planning to get bf4 but the more and more I think about it, I don't want it. 120$ for a game isn't worth it. I hate this whole DLC/microtransaction era were going through.

Same with Call of Duty Ghosts. They're already shoving the DLC in your face.  :o

Real programmers don't document, if it was hard to write, it should be hard to understand.
