Corsair H100i liquid cooler

Is a corsair h100i v2 liquid cooler bit too much for Core i5 6500 which is not overclocked?

But it looks cool though

It's not necessary, but if you want it for looks, go for it.

Also give you a nice cooler for when you do have an overclocking CPU.

It'll be quiet and look pretty cool. There will also be absolutely no chance of your CPU overheating so it'll last you ages.

I had an account called Joegeddon active since April 20th 2015

It's overkill for a 6500. I barely hit 40c most of the time. I'm gonna change my thermal paste since I live in the tropics and my idle temps are like 32c and gaming with full load is like 39c to 40c
