There's a good chance you're already well-acquainted with most of the launch titles for the PlayStation 4 by now, but Sony has today made things official and confirmed the complete list of titles that'll be available on day one. That list totals 22 retail and download-only games in all (compared to 23 for the Xbox One, ten of which overlap between the two consoles), including five first-party titles, twelve third-party games, and five from indie developers.

Sony does note the list is still subject to change -- we just saw Angry Birds: Star Wars added to both the PS4 and Xbox One launch line-ups yesterday -- but time is obviously fast running out for any major additions. Also, while this is the launch dayline-up, Sony has of course announced a number of other games that are set to roll out by the end of the year or early next year, some of which were pushed back from launch due to delays. You can find the complete launch line-up after the break.

PS4 has Watch Dogs but it's just been delayed that's why it's on the launch day title list, PS4 had Driveclub which also got delayed.

Hmm I was looking forward to War Thunder, I read that was a launch title. Also Planetside 2...

I'm actually not sure what to get with my PS4, I have BF4 on PC and I'm over COD, the rest of the games are pretty meh :/

id say about 60% of those titles not many people will care. If xbox one had Halo 5 as a launch title, xbone sales would skyrocket. but titanfall is a big plus for them.

you are practically an idiot if you buy a console at launch; price drops, better games, better hardware optimization over time (I mean just look at The Last of Us), etc. Do I need to say more?

yeah but after buying a 400 dollar console ho many games are you gonna buy? And for the small selection some of these are still fantastic games. and im sure more will be coming very shortly. I'm not like yelling at you or anything just making a counter point for the sake of different points of view xD

The PS4 doesn't seem to have a strong launch title line-up, like the Xbox One in my opinion.

I would buy for PS4:

Knack

Killzone

I would buy for Xbox One:

Dead Rising

Forza Motorsport 5

Ryse: Son of Rome

I wish there was more "at-launch" Kinect games.
