Why Apple?

Hi all,

So just curious here, with all these fast and cheap phone like the OnePlus3T  why do people still pick iphone's (6,6S,7,7Plus)? I mean like they are crazy more expensive then them and there screen is very bad too. Can someone please explain.. The only reason I could find here is the OS, but that can't be the only reason... Thanks in advanced!

It is the "Hot New Thing". Also, there are many Apple-only apps, and they do not compare to the Android only ones.

 

Edit: In addition, to apple users androids are inoperable for some reason

326 and 401. Or are you someone who thinks 4k on a phone is necessary. For the majority of people the iPhone has a fantastic screen when it comes to pixel density. Oh and by the way color reproduction, brightness, and contrast are very important.

I want the barometer so badly so I don't care for 3.5mm jack port. The airpod looks cool I don't ever gonna lose em. I am also rich.

Ok, change the question Why should someone choose the Pixel or Oneplus3 instead of Iphone?

I use my Note 4 for work and my iPhone SE as daily driver. I find myself more easily synced with iTunes than any other program. Android is great for some things and Apple has its own.

 

My Note actually experienced boot-looping while at a farm-call the other day and since I use it for vet records I was fuming since taking a paper file to a farm usually ends up getting destroyed or dirty.

 

Edit: Either phone or brand will do the same job. Aesthetics and system are purely the user's choice. If cost is the only factor you look at, go with a flip phone.

Out of the box they are easier to use. Plain and simple. They have near the best cameras, have the best processors (excluding the top end exynos), have some of the best screens every to be put into a phone (Yes I mean that. I can't tell past 300 PPI and the other important aspects of a phone screen are known to be top notch), have great looking designs, best finger print scanner period, have the fastest storage in a phone (Although few will notice the difference).

Actually not the best. I have tried the Axon 7 scanner for example and it is way faster than the iPhone 7 scanner. ditto for the Oneplus 3

I could care less for the audio jack. Bluetooth is becoming a good stand-in/replacement. Connecting seamlessly between the car radio, BT headphones, and smartwatch is enough reason to move over to full wireless if you don't need the jack.

And usually IOS and OSX have less bugs then an andriod not to say ios is without them, but is a lot less frequent.

 

Also you can buy an iPhone and be garunteed that support won't be dropped next year when a new model comes out, it will be at least. 4-5 years before they stop releasing updates for an iphone the iphone 4 and 4s had OS updates for 5 years, and the iphone 5 is still getting OS updates after 4 years.

I'm glad they took that out. They had a good implementation of Touch ID and paired it with a 5-second swipe.

You can reduce the animations, but there is no stock (jailbreak) way to have single frame animations.
