intel K series overclock in B150 chipset

can Intel B150 chipset's motherboard overclock Intel K series CPU? I listen that Z170 chipset motherboard can overclock Non-k CPU, then why Intel sales with a category K base CPU?

BLCK is not the same way as normal overclock, the performance increase is much smaller. That's why z170 and K cpu
