Hi guys!

So i am gonna build a Hackinthosh at my internship and i wanted to know if there is any specific hardware i need to buy. i allready made an selection of hardware i am probably going to order, but i wanted to see what you guys think of it.

So this is most likely going to be my build:

Motherboard: Asus Z170m-PLUS

CPU: Intel core i7 7600k

GPU: ASUS ROG GeForce GTX 1070 8G

SSD: Mushkin triactor 480GB

HDD: Western Digital black 2TB

RAM: Kingston HyperX 32GB DDR4-2400

PSU: Corsair RM750x

CPU cooler: Be Quiet! Dark Rock TF

Case: Fractal Design Node 804

The build is aimed at Content creation which is why i am gonna install OSX Sierra on it, and since i know that there are some hardware configs that might cause problem, i am not sure if that is the same with modern day hardware.

Any way i am looking forward to what you guys think of it! If you have any suggestions regarding the set-up or anything to hesitate to post them.

Thanks!

pretty sure you cant talk about those here becasuse of piracy stuff and forum rules

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

OSX isn't really better at this. Windows is faster in most programs(adobe suite, maya, many others)

Also, I don't think 10xx are supported in osx yet, get a 960 or 970.

Becuase everyone here works with Apple (Macbook/iMac/iPhone etc) and since we use Daylite (which is program only supported by Apple) it is kinda needed that it is going to be a hackintosh.

Like i said, a big part of our workflow is Daylite which is only supported by Apple. And since EVERYTHING here is Apple. But i didnt come her to get critisized about my choice of OS, i was just curious about what you guys thought about the build and if it would even work as an hackinthosh. And you dont need to understand

Haven't followed the Hackintosh scene in ages, but I remember Gigabyte boards had the best compatibility as far as motherboards went. Unsure if that's still the case.

Hmmm, i will look into this! thanks :)

I am not blaming you for anyhting sorry if it came over that way, but it isnt really relevant to the feedback i am looking for. It is set in stone that i needs to have Sierra on it and not Windows

as was mentioned, as per the community guidelines, assisting people with doing a hackintosh is not permitted
