I stay too much in bed and my back hurts. What can I do?

Grx

Hey, so I spend a lot of time in bed on my laptop, and lately my back has began to hurt a bit... I'm not staying in an ergonomic position either...

Is there any sort of pillow or something to keep me in a better position?

I know this is wildly off topic, even for this forum, but this is a bit of a problem for me and I thought some of you may be in the same situation =D

Try placing a pillow underneath your back, frankly the best option to get rid of those back pains (and future problems with back pain) is to start excising :P (I know right, I'm recommending excise on a tech forum...)

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

what kind of mattress do you have?  A memory foam topper may help with your issue, unless your mattress is already memory foam lol.

You can do stretches for both upper and lower back which also help.

Buying a comfy chair and using that with a desk will solve your issue as well.

I do have a pillow underneath me, but it does not keep me from leaning or squashing down...

Any sports or exercises you would recommend, other than running? (I'm not much of an runner =D )

I don't really like memory foam... I prefer more harder mattresses.

I sort of moved from the desk to my bed since I bought this laptop a couple of months ago, but I guess it's worth a try =D

Thanks for the help guys!

Do deadlifts and squats.  Only need to do it once a week to receive the benefits.  Your back muscles are weak, and you probably lack some flexibility as well.  Do them properly, with good form and you'll have a solid back to last the rest of your life. Start off light and slowly work your way up.
