It makes sense, while PS4 and Xbox 360 aren't technically more powerful then high end PC's, they will out perform them for the next 4-5 years.
WHY?...
Because there dedicated gaming machines were as PC's aren't. They can squeeze the most out of PS4 and Xbox one because they only have one device to worry about. whereas with PC's they have so many OS's and graphics cards to program for its just impossible to get the best performance.

Just look at Killzone 3 and Uncharted 3, they look amazing considering the PS3 hardware. I'd go as far as to say that both those games graphics out shine anything on PC with the exception of a couple of games.

In regards to optimizations for the specific hardware on the consoles sure yea, but not for long with mantle going live in december.

I believe the hardware they are putting into those console things is actually a generation behind the PC. lol.

Consoles are a generation behind. DX 11.1, not the upcoming DX 11.2/other improvements via Nvidia/AMD

Due to.... Polls suggested most people still had 4-6GB of Memory and the Consoles had 8GB

Far be it from me to tell you,..do some research of your own....

 

But saying their better and comparing it to ONE fact, not the conglomerate of facts that ARE there... is stupidly false, and if people didn't know better, they'd be duped believing it.

actually not true. It is possible to make a build with current gen parts for that much.

I just don't believe that, I'm sorry. I would like to see one. The closest I've got is $600 USD with an i3 3120, i think.
