I want to spend more money on my computer...

Alright y'all... I want to spend some more money on my PC. I don't know why, but I just feel the need to tinker and add stuff. Please don't tell me I don't need to upgrade or add anything or that16GB is perfectly good enough. I know this. Just like no one needs or needs to upgrade from a Porsche 911 Turbo S. Yet, a 949hp Ferrari LaFerrari exists.

I just want some suggestions as to what I can do to help seat an addiction outside of building an additional computer. I am thinking I might upgrade my CPU cooler, double my ram and buy some cables from cablemod. I already have LEDs and I dont think I need to add any fans. Maybe a M.2 SSD? My 250GB 850 Evo is almost 50% full.

I'd almost prefer the Turbo S because it's badass af.

But on your case:

M.2 is very nice.

A better CPU cooler is nice aswell.

Why not a second 1080?

Edit: was going to blame you for that crappy keyboard until i googled it lol.

get a better CPU cooler and get adicted to pushing overclocks for a while to distract from your parts addiction :P

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Arguably the Turbo S is all anyone would ever need outside of a good work truck.

I have though about that, but I don't think it will fit between my current gpu and the wireless adapter. Even if it could, I think the cooling would be fairly poor.

To be fair, at least the PC doesn't use 400hp to get that last 10mph on the top-end.

It is commonly uncommon among PC people. I've had it for almost 4 years! It was one of the first to have N-key roll over through usb and there is a tiny bit of storage built in. So, it remembers all the settings wherever you plug it in and no drivers!!!

I could upgrade it, but I want to remain somewhat sensible. For excel I am going to buy this nifty mechanical keypad and plug it into the usb hub on the keyboard.

That is a good suggestion. Raid 0 850 evos would be faster than a 950 pro M.2, right?

If I built a little 280mm loop for my CPU and threw it on the front with my 2x 140mm Noctua intakes, would that heat affect my GPU?

I am a PC noob, but I actually have a good understanding process loops, valves and pumps.

If go 1080 sli then it would make sense to go dual monitor. BUT I am still having issues adjusting to my 27inch as it is. It seems fucking huge, as if I only focus in the center. I have noticed in BF1 that I miss a lot of what is going on around me. I can't place the monitor any farther away either. I think replacing the PSU is a good idea if I add another GPU. Replacing the CPU cooler is something I will do, becasue I get to use the 120mm on my current one somewhere else in my system.
