OK, found a quick way to do 4k test so this is my official input for each individual and average FPS leaderboard in case someone does update the tables. @Masada02 ?

I'm behind, I know :D

Will update today.

Both scoreboards are now updated. If you don't see your score it is probably because you did not include a screenshot of GPUz with your submission. I need this for both Valley and Superposition. Gotta have some way to check clocks ;)

Hey bud.  Congrats on the scores and challenge excepted.  My x299 rig has been mining since the beginning of the year so I'm going to need to blow the rads out before I even think about it.  They look like they're coated in a whitish wool blanket at the moment.  Either way, you've raised the bar and I like your style.

Thanks, means a lot coming from you since I recognize your expertise regarding HEDT platforms ;-) I suspect you will have no problem beating those scores unless I find a way to unbottleneck myself from 1080p extreme :D

I don't know about that "no problem" stuff as you've laid down some nice numbers.  :D

Unfortunately, the 1080p test has become nothing more than a CPU test.  With 1080s and 1080Tis at 1080p, draw calls are just too much for the CPU and the only way to increase scores is to push CPU clock speeds to very high levels (5GHz and higher with decent IPC).

I'm not sure what you've tried so far for CPU clock speed, but there are a few tricks that can help.  A "per core" OC or a "per usage"  OC will allow you to clock individual cores higher than the rest without thermally saturating the chip.  You could also disable cores and achieve slightly higher clocks with the remaining active cores thanks to lower temps (Valley only needs 1 core).  At the end of the day, it's still more fun to reach whatever score you get with all cores active so a "per core" or "per usage" OC would probably be better.

1080p is a waste of time for a rig as powerful as yours.

Pretty much basic OC for now but I have planned pushing it a bit further (4.6Ghz on all cores first, then see what happens, then maybe I will try tweaking individual cores).

The summer ambient temps are killing me though and my significant other doesn't look happy when I push even more heat into the room :D

Thanks for forcing me to blow the dust out of this rig!  It hasn't run 3d in a half year.  A few taps with a hammer and the GPUs stopped resisting.

@done12many2 5.1 on that 7900X is pretty stout... Good to see that mining hasn't had any effect on all those chips too :D

Could always go for his Superposition score too. He's still #1 with 2 cards there. ;)

At this point judging by his core and memory clocks it doesn't really matter, he will take that back too unless I find a way to stabilise my GPUs at higher OC :D

@done12many2 Oh man, I think I will bow out here. Tried everything and I think that the silicon lottery isn't just with me. Managed to get all cores to 4.5GHz stable, it wouldn't budge with 4.6. Same with single core boost, when I couldn't get it to 4.9 and 4.8 I decided it's just not gonna work (getting less wouldn't make substantial difference anyway).

Main problem are the GPU's: can't get them stable higher than those 2075Mhz without flashing custom bios to play with voltage (which I'm not sure I want to do).

You're the king.

That being said, here are my new scores so that when you cross the finish line you will at least have me in the corner of your eye :D

1080p

CPU: i7 6950X 4.5 Ghz

GPUs: 2x1080ti 2075Mhz 6005 Mhz Memory (1501Mhz)

Score: 7775

FPS: 185.8

valley1080v2.jpg

1440p

CPU: i7 6950X 4.5 Ghz

GPUs: 2x1080ti 2075Mhz 6005 Mhz Memory (1501Mhz)

Score: 7396

FPS: 176.8

valleu1440v2.jpg

4k

CPU: i7 6950X 4.5 Ghz

GPUs: 2x1080ti 2075Mhz 6005 Mhz Memory (1501Mhz)

Score: 4054

FPS: 96.9

valley2160v2.jpg

That improved my average score by about 3 fps to about 153.17 vs. yours 162.17 - hey, at least it's less than 10 and I made it a bit harder to take 2nd place from me :D

yeah. Nobody is going to go back and check your old one. Threads don't notify when posts are edited.

Ideally just spend a day trying to go as fast as possible. Save some screenshots and only post the fastest of the lot.
