Jumper118

on the extreme preset it says its 1080p... ugh time to lug our tv to my computer desk again..

im going to see if I can use precision x to up the voltage, if not ill do a bios flash, but practice on some older cards so I don't accidently brick my 770.

the DCUII cards are locked at 1.212v by the voltage controller.

Yeah I found out after using precision x, as well as I accidentally had Asus gpu tweak set to cap my fps at 60.... making the earlier one invalid.

I also found out the screen cuts out when its set too 1457 on 1.2 volts, even though it wont reach that amount..

so bios flashing it is, mine sharing a link for the same bios you are using? Because my any gpu boost program will only let me get to 1.2 not even 1.212

My BIOS won't work on your 770' as mine is set up for the refrence PCB/Card I can link you to the DCUII BIOS I can not garrenty that it will work with your card and you might end up bricking your GPU no matter what so your at a do it at your own consent.

First of all GZ to this amazing score! You are the only guy that I know here in this forum that knows more, in BIOS modding and dialing in a GPU to its absolute sweetspot, than I do ;).

Please do never try a reference PCB BIOS on a aftermarket card you´ll have paper weight afterwards!

Yeah I'm actually looking at getting rid of these 770's now, I want to get my hands on Maxwell so bad.

I kind of torn seeing you mess with Maxwell TBH... on the one hand side I would like to see you messing with a Classified and cracking my 15k+ score single card in 3D Mark FS and on the other hand side you´d force me into getting a watercooler since I know that my card could go up to 1700MHz and you´d be right there with me haha :D.

I could crack 15k single card on air :P a Classy would just make it easier to do. The current clocks I run when benching are much higher then anyone else even on OCN has been able to do on air with even 770' Classies.

Yeah I´m sure I could crack more than 16K but I´d need a watercooler. But don´t forget in 3D Mark the 5960X in 1080p (FS) plays a strong role.

Oh I know it does but it would only take a 1 phone call and I could have my hands on some serious X99 hardware and have the binned 5960X I've been wanting. I wouldn't of spent a penny out of my pocket for any of it.

But this would be kind of cheating ;). Putting a GPU on a base that´s not your own hehe. But then again I´m a hardware cheater myself... I keep buying stuff like a maniac lol.

Not cheating :P would just be a super late birthday gift from a father figure. He bought me my 4770k, my mobo and ram and a 1TB HDD.

Prolly around the 760. Maybe better when pushed.

Our Grace. The Feathered One. He shows us the way. His bob is majestic and shows us the path. Follow unto his guidance and His example. He knows the one true path. Our Saviour. Our Grace. Our Father Birb has taught us with His humble heart and gentle wing the way of the bob. Let us show Him our reverence and follow in His example.
