Stuck at 60hz

My monitor is normally capable of 144 hz.

I use http://www.testufo.com/#test=inversion to test my actualy fps.

 

I use DP and i've earlier managed to get 144hz on the testufo site.

Right now its giving me 60 hz and i can't figure out why. I tried restarting my PC.

Try disconnecting the monitor from power for a few seconds.

Have you gone into the windows settings and manually set it to 144Hz. Also what does GeForce Experience say your monitor is running at?

thanks for making me OC my screens back to 77Hz and 66Hz respectivly lol, forgot to do that after i installed the latest drivers

have you used geforce experience to monitor your frame rate? I'm not at my home computer now, but that site isn't showing my refresh rate for my work monitor.

I don't know how to monitor with gerforce experience. only fps

go into the settings, turn on share and then you can adjust the overlay from there.

Test a game with the refresh rate at 60Hz and then with 144Hz (of course that the FPS need to be 60+), if you can see the difference, probably the site has some kind of problem, if you can't notice any difference, try reinstalling the drivers

For some reason it works now.. no idea why
