HELP. Buying a used Gaming PC.

Hello everyone. I just want to ask for your opinion about a the price of a used gaming pc. I have a contact selling his pc for $470. The specs are 250gb hdd, 8GB RAM, core i5 2nd gen, and a 2gb R9 270x graphics. It has no SSD. Is the price worth it? Please help me decide. Thanx

It depends where it is. But i think that is too much for it in general no matter where you are at

That seems high. Which i5 are we talking about? 250GB is a pretty small HDD. I've got a similar PC listed for $300, only difference is an i3-4150 instead of a Sandy Bridge i5, and I'm just waiting for someone to come along and offer me $250 for it.

Aerocool DS are the best fans you've never tried.

That is a crazy price. You could source those parts on amazon for the same price or less. I payed 250$ for my used pc, and it had an i7 4770 and an r9 280 with 12 gb of ddr3 and a 750w evga psu in a phenom case. There are much better deals to be had believe me. I wouldent even bother trying to negociate with this guy. His computer is worth 100$ maybe 150$.

Too high. Try scoping out eBay, a lot of people sell off their stuff and upgrade.
