Should I take this deal?

Well it's a upgrade, but not the very biggest. The 4790 has obviousy more headroom, but do you run into CPU problems with your current? Around here new ones have about 100€ difference, so not exactly as low as your 65 pounds, but maybe could try to make it 50?

The object of life is not to be on the side of the majority, but to escape finding oneself in the ranks of the insane.

well i7 has 4 extra virtual cores which surely helps in cpu heavy task like video rendering etc. With that deal, even if you wont need that extra power now, it will definitely make you a little more futureproof.
