Where to find dynamic frequency on ASRock motherboard?

Go to solution Solved by nikolaizombie1,

Never mind, aida seemed to max out the cpu frequency, at the desktop it's at its minimum multiplier of 16

So i recently brought a H100I GTX for my amd build for a Athlon 860k and i decided to overclock. I acheived upto 4.2ghz stable but there's a problem the only two options relating to cpu frequncy are auto (which turns off my OC) or manual which pins my cpu at 4.2 ghz all the time, which i don't like. How can i set the frequency to dynamic on a ASRock FM2A88X-ITX+?

From what i see, there is no way to do that.

If you change the multiplier, its going to disable the slow down at idle.

used to do it on my 4790k, so why not on amd?

IDK, depends on board.

Also why are you running a h100i on a 860k, I would have just saved up for a faster cpu.
