1060 vs 1050Ti?

Hello everyone! I've posted several threads before asking for suggestions on what GPU I should buy.

Current Specs are:

Core i5 2500

8GB DDR3

GTX 550 Ti.

Windows 10 Pro

I mainly play the mainstream games (LoL , CSGO) but I'm looking to invest in a graphics card for Overwatch and future titles! (The 550Ti really showing its age right now)

The main question is as posted.

I currently have ENOUGH to buy either GPU from Zotac (Not looking for a fancy aftermarket one).

I usually just glance over AAA titles since I buy games sparingly.

I'm only gaming on 1080p but I kinda want to crank up the settings (Ultra or possibly maxed out). Which card should I buy for my use scenario?

A 1050Ti should be more than enough to max out Overwatch, CSGO, and LoL at 1080p. But it depends on what other games you might want to play.

Might plan to invest in a 144 hz monitor after this actually. I do play titles like Warframe (which puts a LOT of strain on my MSI laptop with a 860m).

Actually no. Imho the 470 is priced in a very awkward spot (roughly 10 bucks cheaper here) compared to the cheapest 1060 (Zotac Mini). So for the price-performance disparity, I'll probably just give a nod to the Green side for that case

I'd get a 1060 if you plan to go 144hz.
