When somebody sends me a scam email, I play along until I just feel like telling them how I just played them.

Many times, it's just to see if your email is real and active so they can give out your info to other spammers.

I only do this with my "junk" email accounts.  If I get a scam message to my "real" account, I just mark it as spam.
