GTX 960 SLI vs RX 480?

Which one will get more fps in fx. 2k games? and 1080p? Im just trying to compare to my friends build, but can't find any benchmarks, so i thought why not asks in linus' forum. All hail linus. Our saviour. Y'all need linus.

seriously it's god for 1080p gaming.

Some games don't supports sli, so not 960 sli.

Could argue freesync monitors are insanely cheaper then gsync, AMD cards generally age better and you can't deny that more games are going to utilize DX12 and Vulkan which the 480 usually bears the 1060 in.

960 SLI = 980 performance at best so 480 is the better choice here since it perform similar to 980 without the need to wait for profile and tinkering Nvidia Inspector to make the game work/perform great.

Maybe he means he plays 2k games like mafia and bioshock at 1080p
