Yeah, no harm in going a little extra on wattage. 850W is plenty for two 1080s.

this is not two 1080s, this would be two pascal titan X or so in powerdraw.

yeah, unless Vega, Navi or Volta top end cards are going to draw 150w-180w, then I think 1000W would be the smarter option.

Top end would be next Fury, Fury x and 1080ti(when it comes out), Titan X. I will OC both of the GPUs and the CPU

yeah, but from the testing I have seen the cards draws close to the TDP, when they are running at 100% and they will run at 100% sometimes. Is 3-4 hard drives really a lot? I am looking at HX 1000w and AX1200i.

this build is going to be overkill in every way, but I would hate myself if I went for a more normal system, but ended up need all of this power in a year.

Hard drives use a good amount of amperage to spin up. I would still recommend a 850-1000W P2 since you'll be using 2 x 1080 Ti's or Titans.

XTS is good :)

The P2 is the best, but I would get the cheapest with at least 5 years warranty.

We have a NEW and GLORIOUSER-ER-ER PSU Tier List Now. (dammit @LukeSavenije stop coming up with new ones)

my current system has a AX860i and I don't think that the fan has run for a single second so far.

I am kinda on the fence because for 200 DKK more I can get 12000w over 1000w, so don't know if I should just get a 1200w.

1000w cost about 1800 DKK and 1200w is about 2000 DKK

PSUs are that expensive in Denmark? What?? My XFX XTS was only 120 pounds, 1000DDK although back then (before brexit), it would have been roughly 1200-1300DDK.

oh yeah 1000-1200 DKK would get me a 1000w 80+ gold. Everything is expensive here in Denmark. The cheapest 1000W Platinum is 1729 DKK. For some reason PSUs has gotten a lot more expensive. I got my AX860i for 1100 DKK, now it is 1750 DKK

I am really hoping for a good black friday sale. They are normally pretty bad here in Denmark.

High quality PSUs are really expensive, but worth it, so it doesn't kill my system :D
