Thermal Paste for GPU?

Hi guys,

 

I just bought a used r9 290x and want to change it's thermal paste. I have these options, from lowest to highest price:

 

1. Deepcool Z5

2. Xigmatek PTI-G3606

3. Xigmatek PTI-G4512

4. Shin-Etsu X23-7762

5. Xigmatek XI-3

6. Prolimatech Pk3

Deepcool, it doesn't matter that much. Just double check its non conductive (which all on that list are I think), gpus don't have an IHS and sometimes have exposed electrics around the die.

Best thing is get one of the newer TIMs that don't require cure times and easy to spread.

There is a difference, but it's only a degree or two on average. Clean heatsinks and fans good case flow will make more of a difference than the paste, just refreshing the stuff will make a differences to a card a few years old.
