As stated by Junky, you must be more specific in your needs and preferences. A quick search on newegg.com returns quite a few available options, with the majority of options around your budget having gtx670m or 675m graphics.

those are just a few i found after a quick search, if u plan to buy a laptop purely for gaming.

Maybe you should buy any laptop which featuring an i7 36xx or better for more calculating power but what do you want to do with your laptop, which programs are you going to run and which games do you want to play. Just like what junky says. If you provide us more information so we can we give you a proper recommendation.

I hope that helped you a bit.

Watch out, there might be ninjas out there

I use a MSI GE-60 with core i 7, GTX660m and 750GB 7200RPM HDD and 1080p matte screen

for programming (college)

and for gaming

and it has very good key broad i have seen in any laptop(made my steelserise)

and i have amazing battery life even when gaming

its fast to compile programs

and you get some updgrade options as well like more RAM slots and mSATA for Cache SSD

so that is my experience

Clevo/Sager/Horize/Metabox/Origin/ETC P(Insert desired screen size)HM/EM

Generally the best at meeting a particular budget with the most desirable specs IMO.

"Programming" is quite general, if you just want to print "Hello World" then anything will do. :p

From all of the reviews I have read, (sources; The Verge, personal, amazon)

The Samsung Gamer Series 7 and ASUS side of gaming laptops are generally the best.

I was looking into some laptops too and I really like the Asus G75VW. Seems to have a balanced price point to specs ratio IMO...

But dont only take price range and specs into account. ... see the warranty side too.

in my case I live in costa Rica and that specific laptop is more expensive here than it is in the US/Canada... and if I buy it there I probably won't be under warranty here... so I'm screwed.. you have so many options :) take your time and pick what gives you the best value for your money, that should be the safest option.

Good luck!

Main Rig: i7 3770k, 16Gb Corsair Vengeance LP, MSI MPower Z77, Corsair H60, MSI GTX 780 LightningI, Ultra X4 1050Watts, 128gb SSD, 4tb Storage.

Lappy: ASUS G46VW i7 3630QM,  16Gb Corsair Vengeance, 128gb SSD, 500gb HDD, 1600x900 Screen.

I own a MSI GT60 and love it thus far and I have had it since December. I got it vs the Asus because of the stock stealseries keyboard. I have played with a Asus 15in and the feel for the MSI is better to me go to best buy and try to see what they have in stock for both the Asus ROG and MSI. They most likely not have the MSI but might have the Asus but it gets you the chance to touch one
