Needs ideas (creative people, please click here!)

AustinTheIntern

Hey guys so I need to make a phsyical timeline that will contain all the presidents of the US for my APUSH class..

I didn't want to do anything phony like taping pieces of paper together and the biggest paper i found was bristol paper but that isn't long enough to contain all the presidents with 5 inches between the names of the presidents..

so i was wondering if any of you guys had any ideas as to how i should go on with this project :P

EDIT: IT SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIT IN MY 3 RING BINDER AND NEEDS TO BE PHYSICAL LOL..(no powerpoints :P)

thanks for any help!

regards,

Maybe a tri-fold presentation/display board? The one linked below, when open, is 36" x 48"

Connect the presidents with an outline on the surface of a ball and say that time doesn't go in a straight line but it's more of a timey wimey wibbly wobbly sort of thing.

moebius loop, unlimited lenght

Well in an actual application, it would be twice as long as a single side of the same strip. It might be fun to make a contraption to scroll around the thing.

1. Grab two regular pieces of paper

2. Tape them together at the edges to make a tube

3. Make the timeline with a bit of inclination (like a screw)

4. Fold it and put it in the binder, since it's still the size of a regular piece of paper

5. Unfold it at school

6. ???

7. profit

You can just get an A3 sized piece of paper but then you'll need to fold it which will leave a crease.

No, I did, but what you're asking is impossible. Not to mention creating a helix timeline would be more creative than what you're suggesting.
