From R9 280x to GTX 1060

AndyGamming

If you have the extra $, I would strongly recommend a GTX 1070 over the 1060

But nevertheless, the GTX 1060 is a great performer for 1080p/60fps with all settings at max

An upgrade to the skylake platform would cost a lot more than a 1060. You could probably get a 4790k and a 1060 for the budget of just the 6700k setup.

Just looked it up and the 4790k/1060 costs a bit more but you get the point

CPU: I5 4590 Motherboard: ASROCK H97 Pro4 Ram: XPG 16gb v2.0 4x4 kit  GPU: Gigabyte GTX 970 PSU: EVGA 550w Supernova G2 Storage: 128 gb Sandisk SSD + 525gb Mx300 SSD Cooling: Be Quiet! Shadow Rock LP Case: Zalman T2 Sound: Logitech Z506 5.1 Mouse: Razer Deathadder Chroma Keyboard: DBPower LED

If I'm going to upgrade to GTX 1070, will be problems in the next 2 years?

A 1070 at 1080p is a little much. I'd say a 1070 will do well at 1080p for at least 4 years but I might be optimistic

So, the upgrade deserve if we talk about 1070.

I saw your list. You got an unlocked i5 with a B85 board.... Can you upgrade your board and OC your cpu first? Then, use the remainder of your budget to maybe buy a RX470. Might be a wise choice if you're going purely for 1080p 60fps.
