I know that some people don't like the gigabyte cards but the card is fine I've owned gigabyte cards and have no issue. I couldn't find the green ballsitic crucial ram sticks so just imagine they are. I'm also looking for a wifi adapter for his router that is 30 feet away. his speed is 10mb download and 1mb upload so nothing fancy. Is this build viable? He won't be overclocking and he'll be doing 1080p gaming league, overwatch, csgo and he'll be newer games.

Because the EVGA one is very mediocre, and the one linked up there (XFX TS Gold) is great.

The best you could buy would probably be the EVGA 550W G2, but if you want to save a little, the EVGA 500W B2 is of decent quality too.

I don't know about that Avexir SSD, but there's no chance in hell it's better than the SL308 or MX300 that compete in price.

I can, but be aware that you're missing out on Freesync, which is very worth it for a monitor upgrade and costs $200 less than Gsync.

I just clicked it since it was the cheapest 250GB SSD, also Kyle from Awesomesauce used an Averix SSD in a build.

I didn't really look when I clicked it, I thought I clicked the Kingston UV400 which is a quite nice SSD for its price, I also just noticed that I clicked an ECS motherboard and I don't know if ECS makes good motherboards or not, I didn't realise they still existed.

he isn't very tech savvy and is on a budget. Once he learns more in a few years he'll opt for freesync or whatever is out in the future.

ECS still shows up in TPU from time to time

As for the SSD, I would take the UV400 but since the SL308 is $5 more, no reason not to take that.
