This is my build. My Theme is red. Trying to cool a 6600k for heavy overclocking. no more than $110CAD. My case is the Enthoo Evolv Black/Red Mini-ITX.

So you haven't bought the build yet?

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

making a list atm, will be done in a bit

but the i7 6700 non K is a better choice than an i5 6600K at the same price, 4 cores at 4.5ghz avg OC is so not worth losing getting 8 threads with a 4gbs turbo, the price should be similair in the end with a more budget motherboard

And is $400 CAD the normal price of the 1060 6GB card?

because an RX 470 is a way better value at $260 CAD here

Yes the MSI GTX 1060 6gb Gaming X is normaly 412 but onsale currenlty. I think I going to stay with my 6600k because make the 6700 the same price I will have to get a very cheap mobo

not really, the motherboard will be fine this ones comes with wifi, and it's easily worth all the extra multi-threaded performance with the i7, ITX changes it a bit though, it's only $100 CAD difference, that basically comes from changing the GPU

essentially with the i7 you shouldn't have any real reason to replace it anytime soon, as with the i5 you're limited to 4 threads even if they are a bit faster per thread

and ya I'd go RX 470 at $150 difference, the extra performance of the 1060 isn't going to be worth it

plus you can get this display which would be a bit better for gaming, it's a 75Hz TN free-sync display

it would also be a fair amount less if you went micro ATX, also upgraded the PSU

and you really won't need the extra fans, won't help cooling too much in an ITX case since it's already all packed close

AMD SSD for the luls, not sure if the kingston SSD has the same issue as the V300 series

As far as your CPU cooler goes, just stick to the stock fans man

Then I would rather take a cooler that is designed to run passive like the Thermaltake Le Grand Macho...

It's designed to be used semi-passively with case fans.

Corsair Air Series AF120 or the Noctua NF-F12 PWM? Which one is better for the price?

Hard to tell if you don't mention the price. Also, a NF-S12A would be better than a NF-F12. It's probably your best option for the quietest well performing fan. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/BgvRsY/noctua-case-fan-nfs12apwm

A cheaper option could be a Dual-X: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/r4ckcf/cougar-case-fan-cfd12hbr

or Hyperborea: http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/product/qKvRsY/rosewill-case-fan-rocf11004

If you want a good red fan, you can get an AF120 QE or Magma Advance:

You don't need waterproofing on your fans. AF120. If you want quieter, find something else.

? Neither fans are waterproof.

right, but simply taking the fans off could have consequences if the CPU does end up requiring them.

in either event, the simplest solution is just to get 2 nice Noctua fans for the heatsink @coolmrschillalready has.

There's no need for 2 fans. 1 is plenty.

Yeah, dont expect those exact #'s for your cpu. It could be "worse" or much better.

The oc and temps seem very good. It's extremely unlikely to get much better with a 212 Evo.
